When it came out
BREAK EVEN came out on October 26 at 6 PM KST: 6 PM in Seoul and Tokyo, 10 AM in central Europe, 9 AM in London and 5 AM in New York. For the next releases in your own time zone, see the K-pop comeback calendar.
The tracklist
BREAK EVEN is a short record: four songs, revealed by BELIFT LAB on September 28.
- Super in Love
- More
- 체포하겠어 (You’re Under Arrest): the title track
- Pop
The official title, as it appears on the music video on HYBE LABELS, is 체포하겠어 (You’re Under Arrest). Before the release, some translated Korean articles had rendered it as “I’ll Arrest You” or “Arrest Me”. Korean media also report that HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk is credited on all four songs.
The concept: what “break even” means
The name comes from accounting. The break-even point is where what you’ve put in and what you get back are exactly equal. As reported by Korean media, the album takes that idea to relationships: no longer investing your time and your heart in someone who doesn’t give anything back. The title track is described as a song about the feelings toward someone who misread repeated kindness as something more.
The visuals moved through several moods, each with its own set of concept photos: BURNING, GLLIT (named after the fandom), QUIET, with a cold, distant look, and MAD, with bright blonde hair and a kitsch style.
The teaser timeline
BELIFT LAB announced the album on September 14 and spent a month releasing teasers. The dates below are in Korean time.
- September 28: tracklist and the first “BURNING” concept film
- September 29 to October 2: promotion calendar and individual concept films, including Minju, Yunah, Iroha and Wonhee

Who’s in the comeback?
ILLIT have five members: Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee and Iroha. They debuted in March 2024 with “Magnetic”. Our guide to ILLIT’s members introduces each of them.
In June 2026, BELIFT LAB said that Moka would pause all activities to focus on her health, and that ILLIT would continue as a four-member group for the time being. The BREAK EVEN teasers feature Yunah, Minju, Wonhee and Iroha. The agency hasn’t announced a return date, so for any update on Moka, the official notices from BELIFT LAB on Weverse are the place to check.
